Learning to Ride a Bicycle
Like swimming, Daddy view biking as a fundamental life skill. Imagine, if our kids cannot swim or ride, how much fun will they be missing !
Step 1.
Mount bike, kids must be able to tip toe on bike.
If bike frame is too short, kid will struggle to peddle.
Step 1a. Get a helmet. Our kids are not as rugged as yesterday's kids, and we parents do not want them to get unnecessary bumps keke

Malacca 2D1N
Three friendly cars, we convoyed over three hours to reach Malacca. The journey itself was fun and interesting. Our lunch venue, Ole Nyonya. Otar and chap-chye (vegetable) are standard Peranakan side dishes. You must order some spicky belachan fish/squid/prawn too. Yummy !
We checked into Holiday Inn Melaka.
Singapore's school going kiddos losing their competitive edge?
Our kids grow up in a comfortable environment.
They do not have to worry about their next meal, or a roof over their head. Instead, we worry about when we can get the next iPhone, or iTablet, or even which blockbuster will gather the most Oscars.
Parents attend to their children's whinings.
Are we pampering our kiddos too much?
Singaporeans are really fortunate. We have Rain Shelters and air-condition Bus-Interchanges everywhere. But are we at risk of losing touch with the "real" world? A world where children can still live in absolute poverty. And where children live only for the day, and nobody dreams about their "Aspirations and Future". How many poor kids are fortunate enough to have an education?
