Bookmarks allow you to remember and get quick access to your favorite content in KiasuParents.com.

There are 2 types of bookmarks in KiasuParents.com

1. Forum Bookmarks
2. Portal Bookmarks

Please note that they are both different systems.  If you store a bookmark in the Forum, you can only access it from the Forum's User Control Panel.  If you store a bookmark in the Portal, you can only access it from the Portal's Bookmark feature.

Forum Bookmarks

To create a forum bookmark, go to your favorite thread.

Click on the "Bookmark topic" link.  That will keep a handle to this thread which you can access from your User Control Panel at the top right hand corner of the Forum Index or sub-Forum pages.

To retrieve your bookmarks, click on the "Manage Bookmarks" link.

Portal Bookmarks

KSP Ratings are special ratings set up by KiasuParents.com to perform a bridging role as a 3rd party to protect our customers while allowing bona fide service providers prove that they are indeed who they claim to be.

The Internet is fraught with potential fraudsters who hide behind the anonymity of the faceless network to attempt to fleece unwitting users.

To counter this, KiasuParents.com requires individual service providers to register their profiles with our Portal before they are allowed to advertise their services with our parenting community.

In addition, KiasuParents.com also allows genuine service providers to prove themselves by allowing themselves to be audited by representatives from KiasuParents.com.  This can happen at 2 levels:

Standard Audit

KiasuParents.com is a Portal for parents, by parents.  Without the unrelenting contributions from selfless parents, KiasuParents.com would not be as informative and useful to parents in Singapore as it is today.

While almost every member of KiasuParents.com has left a trace of him/herself on our Portals and Forums, we recognise and honor contributions from a special group of members.  These members are nominated and supported by other members of the Community who take the extra step of creating a Citation to show their appreciation for the efforts taken by the nominee.

As an independent review site on edu-care products and services in Singapore, KiasuParents.com maintains an open policy on comments and reviews on service providers created by the community at large.

However, we have noted that, out of frustration, some members of the public may create accounts on our Portal just to post negative comments on service providers. At times, the content is copied verbatim from other sites, signifying an ongoing online campaign to discredit the service provider.
