Playground
Kids Amaze Outing
Our first trip was during the pre-opening of SAFRA. We were invited to come and try out the facilities before the public. Children and adults came out with some scratches and small cuts (from the slides). Daddie checked into the playground area while Mumsie & I chilled out at the sitting area near the pretty, bright, orange lockers.
We decided to make a return trip there on DD2's birthday last October and she said that was her best birthday ever.
Upon reaching the entrance of SAFRA, we immediately saw the indoor playground entrance beckoning to us. Upon entering the premise, we were greeted with a huge 3-storey indoor playground space! Awesome structure!
West Coast Park Adventure Playground
It all started with a trip to Mc Donald's at West Coast for brunch. DS was eyeing a brightly coloured playground as he chomp on his kid's meal as fast as he could and after that we braved the hot sun to check it out.

Turns out this is just one part of a very large adventure playground that really is a combination of eight playgrounds targeted at different age groups.
Indoor Playgrounds for Children
Indoor soft playgrounds can be a savoir for stress parents and hyperactive kids. They usually comes with play structures designed to be safe and fun and is a good place to go especially when it is raining or way too hot to be outdoors. The kids get to expand their energy and practise their motor and social skills while parents get a little rest.
Here is a list of indoor playgrounds around Singapore:
Fidgets
Location(s)
I have never heard of Fidgets till an old friend found me on MSN and we started sharing what we do with our kids on weekends.
Friend: May be we can bring the kids and they can play together.
Me: Er weekend is kind of enrichment day...what about you guys? Where do you usually go?
Friend: All over. You heard of Fidgets?
Me: Huh whatz that?
Well my day of enlightment came not long after and DS find his favourite playground. Fidgets is quite a big place with a cafe and three big play structures for older kids and a seprate toddler area. My four year old tear pass me the moment he step in and explore the structures. It;s a rainy sunday and there are lots of kids running, climbing, playing with the slides and practising their motor skills.
