Thank you for this wonderful compilation of affiliated primary and secondary schools. This will give parents like us a better understanding of the affiliated secondary school, esp with P1 registration in July.

Does "affiliated school"
Does "affiliated school" means that the child can go into the school (secondary or JC) with lower marks if he is in an affiliated primary school?

Yes, RRMummy, now we are more focus to aim for pri sch which is affiliated to a preferred sec sch.

Oic! Didn't think that far - sec sch! Now just busy preparing my sons for P1.
My choice of primary school will still be the-nearest-school criteria. As for the sec sch, I guess my children will go to good school only if they are good enough for it. If based on 'discount', it means they may not be good enough to be there anyway. Isn't that more stressful for them to learn there? Wouldn't they be always be the last in class then?
Ya, you bet! Triple joy is not free. It does come with triple stress. But luckily there is this website where so many great parents pull in their resources to share their experience. This really helps.

I think the kids are already having too much stress and pressure to do well in school. Sure won't mind lightening their load a little by having this advantage!

The relationship is not for P1 registration, but Sec1 registration.
Some secondary schools give "discount" to affiliated primary schools students. So those students can get in with lower aggregate than those from non-affiliated primary schools.
