EDEN’S PROFILE

Eden is currently teaching Language and Communication Skills in a local university. She received a Masters of Linguistics from the University of Delaware, United States and a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore. Her concentration for her Masters degree is in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) and Language Testing. Eden has 15 years of experience in teaching Professional Communication and university writing to the undergraduates in the university. Her forte lies in teaching career skills such as writing personal statements, resume writing, interviewing skills, intercultural communication, public speaking and business writing. To date, she has helped more than 10,000 students secure their ideal jobs and internships through her effectiveness in coaching resume writing and interviewing skills to her students.

Eden is a warm and approachable person, and she often gives career counselling to her students and help them refine their personal statements for scholarship or post-graduate education applications. Eden is talented and passionate in coaching the youths to help them in their school application. She does not see her job as a job, but as a calling, because she is caring and interested in the well-being of every student she comes across. Her dream in life is to fulfil the dreams of the youths and she wishes to make a positive imprint in their lives.
