In his book “How to give your baby encyclopedic knowledge”, Glen Doman advocate organizing flash cards into 10 divisions followed by Category. Instead of merely showing the child Category of information such as animals, insects, etc. He reason that by giving your  child 10 related facts, you can give your child “3628,000 connections in his knowledge bank.” 

This set consist of 10 cards to be used when showing your child knowledge belonging to different areas. I have made some changes to Glen Doman’s original divisions.  Here are the 10 divisions and suggested categories of information.

1. History
   Category examples: Great Inventors, Great Leaders, Great Scientist, Presidents of Countries, Founding Fathers of Countries  
2. Music
   Category examples: Musical Instruments, Musical Notes, Musical Symbols, Great Composers, Musical Intervals, Musical Cords, 
3. Visual Arts
   Category examples: Famous Paintings, Great Artists, Masterpieces of Van Gogh, Master Pieces of Picasso, Master Pieces of da Vinci, Cezanne, Michelangelo etc. 
4. Literature
   Category examples: Shakespearean Characters, Authors of Children’s Classics, and Great Philosophers. 
5. Mathematics
   Category examples: Shapes, Measurement and calculation tools, Mathematical Symbols, Geometric Solids, Dot Cards. 
6. Life Sciences
   Category examples: Insects, Birds, Flowers, Fish, and Mammals. 
7. Human Anatomy
   Category examples: Organs of the Body, Bones of the Body, Digestive systems. 
8. Geography
   Category examples: Continents, Countries of Asia, Countries of Europe, The Flags of the World, States of Countries, Climatology. 
9. Language
   Category examples: Common Words in different languages e.g. Food, etc.  
10. General Science
    Category examples: Great Inventions, Planets, Constellations, Minerals, Tools, Automobiles, Trains, Airplanes, Ships.
