PLEASE HELP ! Cannot play my video on dvd !

I just bought a copy of the Leap Frog Letter Factory. But when I try to play on my DVD player today, it shown on the screen "Wrong Region". Please can anyone please help with that ! Is there any way I can change the setting of my DVD player ? Thank you for your help.
Your DVD Player is probably the problem
Hi kittytan, your DVD player is probably locked to Region 3 only. There's some discussion about buying and playing DVDs from Amazon here. You may just want to buy another DVD player (they are dirt-cheap these days) that supports multi-region.
Decoding your DVD player
you can google to find out how to uncode your dvd player. it's actually just pressing some keys and the player will be unlocked to multi-region. Each brand has it's own unique formula. I tried that on an old player and it works.
Decoding DVD player
It is quite easy to decode the DVD player.. just need to follow some instructions. For my LG player, I called up the LG customer service and provided them the model number and they gave me the decoding instruction. It works!
