HUA have won the Best Enrichment Programme Award at the inaugural Singapore Education Awards on 23 March 2007.

The Award is meaningful as it speaks of the high quality of our preparatory course programme in HUA.  Altogether, there were 330 nominees for the Awards and to win it  means we are the best amongst all the private education institutions that provide enrichment programmes and preparatory courses for students in Singapore .

学前班综合华文课程

课程主要目的是让孩子通过早期的学习，感受语言学习的乐趣和效果。我们积极鼓励孩子参与各种互动活动，通过有趣的活动教学，取代刻板的学习模式。 我们的课程设计循序渐进，紧密配合孩子的成长阶段，通过柔性平衡教学方式引导孩子的理性和感性的发展。

 

幼儿唱游班 ( 2－3 岁 )

这个课程里，我们为孩子营造温馨的语文环境，让孩子自然地从中学习华语。这个阶段，我们着重于训练学生的听力和口语能力。我们会通过语文游戏、美工活动、聆听和唱游等方式来开发孩子的听说语言技能，强化他们的肢体运用技能。

 

幼儿启蒙班 ( 3 - 4 岁 )

这个课程里，我们用创新的方式发展儿童的听、说、读语文技能，尤其是借助韵文强化他们的发音和听力水平，激发他们学习华语的兴趣。我们会通过儿歌、律动、听故事、语文游戏、适量的建议识字、掌握基本笔画和一系列常用句口语表达训练，来达到这个目的。

 

幼稚园一班 ( 5 岁 )

我们为孩子营造轻松快乐的学习环境，通过特别设计的阅读计划、语文活动、唱游、听讲故事、口语会话等巩固华文基础，同时教导孩子如何运用常用词汇，从单词进入词语组合阶段，有效提高孩子的听说能力和阅读能力。

 

幼稚园二班 ( 6 岁 )

这 个课程里，我们进一步强化孩子的口语、认读和书写信心。通过各种系列的语文活动、词汇学习、听讲故事、识字、阅读、书写汉字和造短句等活动，扩展孩子的华 文运用能力；认读识字教学将是重要的内容，目的是加强学生的独立阅读能力。此外，本课程也将教授汉语拼音，为孩子进入小学做好准备。

It's located on the 3rd floor in Greenridge Shopping Centre, a neighbourhood centre in Jelapang Rd, Bukit Panjang.  There is a church beside it.  There is a basement car park there.  If you are taking train, you can ride on LRT, alight at Jelapang station.

Hi Socks,

I personally don't know what's going on in the class, but my daughter commented that it's fun.  I had to push her into the classroom during her trial lesson.  After 2 hours, she came out smiling and showing me what she had achieved in her worksheets, a B-. 

This centre is quite small, in a corner on the third floor of neighbourhood centre.  The name of the centre is "C Win Learning Centre" 华盛教学中心

Chinese Lesson

 

Hi Valenluah,

I'd just sent my 6yrs old daughter to the Chinese tuition class in GreenRidge Shopping Centre (at Jelapang, Bt Panjang).  Last week was only her 2nd session but we can see that she enjoyed the lessons. 

My daughter cannot read a simple chinese word because I only taught her English and Mathematics subjects at home. Her K2 Chinese teacher also complained that my daughter refused to do her homework in school.  My daughter's explaination was she didn't like the subject and the chinese words were very difficult to write.

In fact when I first signed up for the trial lesson, she told me she didn't want to attend.  But after the trial lesson, she was so excited that she kept reciting the text on her worksheets over and over again.  My husband also made her re-write the words on the worksheets so as to emphasize what she had learnt.  Now with just 2 lessons, she can write the chinese characters and count strokes correctly.
