erm hello i am a newbie but i have a few question:
do your know what are the topic tested for end of year exams for sec 1 geography?
what is the difference between tropical Savannah and temperate grasslands?
Are those non-teached but in the textbooks tested for end of year exams?
Sorry because i am revising for geog now at chap 12. so pls help!! Thanks!

Tropical savannah is also called tropical grassland. They lie mainly between tropic of cancer and tropic of Capricorn. They cover with long grass and scattered bushes.
Temperate grassland on the other hand lie in the temperate regions. The grass are short and evenly distributed.
These are the main difference between them. For more details, you can check from reference books.

Hi Barbara I believe that the book you mentioned can only be bought from second-hand bookstores as it is now out of publication I got mine from a second-hand bookstore.

My daughter now in Sec 2 and going to prepare to have the option for either SS with Elective Geography or Core Geography. My question is : is it easier to do or better to do Elective Geography or Core Geography?

The School told us to take 2 Humanities subjects which is Combined Humanities + Core Geography or Core History or Core Lit. We can't decide to take SS/Elective Geog + Core History or SS/Elective History + Core Geog. Lit is totally out for her.

Any experience or infos? Thank you.
