Only dark chocolate for me, it's less sweet.

I find that those of higher cocoa level, say 70-80% tend to feel powdery on the tongue. 60% is quite a good balance.

I also like mild sweet dark chocolate only. With the exception of the Hershey's cookie and cream milk chocolate :rahrah:

I always eat dark chocolate of 85% cocoa content. It's hard, yet when it melts, it's silky smooth, and it's mildly sweet. I once tried the 99%. It was totally inedible. Like eating off bark from a tree, totally bitter and hard.

Dark choc should not be more than 70% otherwise it becomes too bitter.

I like Royce for nama, dark goes to Beschle (Swiss brand) for their bars. There's also Brit brand Hotel Chocolat, but sadly, not available here and the French Maison Du Chocolat, again, not available here. But if you guys are at East Coast Road, head to Pave. Their chocolates are really nice. The shop is located opp Roxy, near overhead bridge. Pastry there is good too.

85% isn't too bitter for me  and I like it better compared to 70% cocoa content. More cocoa content = Less sweet = a healthier choice = Less chance of diabetes
