Depending on your usage, budget and counter top space. Another option is to buy a breadmaker machine and let it do the job for you.

I love my bread maker. Very useful if bread is what you're after and it takes all the work out of bread making. If you want to take up bread making as a hobby, then, I think a heavy duty stand mixer with a dough hook will work. I've a kitchen aid. But kenwood, Bosch etc, also makes heavy duty stand mixers. Go to Tangs basement. I have a rowenta oven. Very respectable and heats up quite evenly.

Did went to BITC to learn baking & the teacher there recommended me Ariston oven. Now seldom bake only when very very free. Use it to roast chicken drumlettes instead.
Marinate the chicken using only pandan brand oyster sauce & roast it in the oven. Taste yummy. Sometimes after roasting (more like baking them), just coat a layer of honey & they tastes yummy too. :)

The mixer, I have 2 both Kenwood,
the heavy duty Kenwood stand mixer now white elephant.
I prefer the hand held lighter one cause the most at one time my oven can goes in one cake. Even though can double deck, its hard to control both top & bottom temperature. The top already OK, but the bottom still not totally baked.
