So these International Schools don't participate in S1 posting lah ?

I just look at the MOE book, SJI only got the normal program.

But why SJI wants so much to offer IP program ? If anyhting, isn't Cat High, CHIJ St Nich or SCGS are in better position to offer IP than SJI (as these schools, their COP is higher than SJI) ?

Catholic High's affiliation COP intimidates me, btw.
Anyway, if we see the mean for all these schools, SJI isn't any behind Cat High.
Personally, I fell that SJI is more suited for the IP programme and it is actually applying to become a hybrid - O levels for the lower-abilitied, IP for the higher-abilitied. And that means COP doesn't matter much, as the pupils who score lower aren't included in IP.
Like ACS (I), there is an IP COP, which I predict to be 25+, as its higher than SJI's mean score.
And, HCIS's hair rules seem really unstrict - I see girls with "not permitted in primary school" hair. Their English and Chinese is also really very unsinglish, with the china accent for chinese and the american accent for english. Their books, I saw in our bookshop (They use the same bookshop as high school) is also very different from the IP/normal syllabus.

The difference betwn sji & chs is that sji is an independent school, so it can run it's own programmes...shd b similar to acsi. CHS is not independent, so most probably won't be given the flexibility to run 2-track programmes by MOE. Hence CHS school fees v cheap compared to SJI's S$290.

So, when SJI IP program is approved, the fees is gonna be those like $290 range or gonna be those that makes you :siam: one ? :?

FYI, I read somewhere sometime back that MOE will stop awarding IP status to more schools. So unlikely that SJI will gain IP status. Refering to St Joseph Institution, here, not the international school. The international schools should be doing IB programs.

SJI is already S$290 bc it is an independent school (not international, hor - international is SJI(Int'l).
