For the interview, they might ask these questions or some other questions related to DHS :
why do you choose DHS?
How do you get to know about dhs?
what can you contribute to dhs if you were offer a CO?
what do you know about our school's motto?

For the english test, it is a MCQ test.

Good luck to all the children that is going for the interview.
Yes...DSA applicants shd at least know abt the sch 's motto...where DHS emphasis heavily on it...

That is... 诚信勇忠 (Honesty, Trustworthiness, Moral Courage, Loyalty) (of coz, there may be changes of the interview questions...but play safe.... )

It's also good to watch the sch's coporate video to get to know more abt the sch...more abt the prinicpal...

Relax n be Yourself during the interview with the teachers....
Not too worry...most DHS 's Teachers are friendly n approachable...well- liked by the students....

ALL THE BEST TO ALL DHS DSA APPLICANTS...

Hi Estheric

It really puzzled me why at this stage, you are worried that your dd did not participate in maths olympiad or performing arts.

The next stage is essay writing and interview. Absolutely nothing to do with maths olympiad n performing arts.[/quote

We are required to submit copies of certificates of achievement in these competition so of course all these will be taken into consideration during the final selection process.
As compared to those who had outstanding performance in these domains, my dd
"resume" will not be as good .

Email received today on my dd scgs IP interview - next Tues. DD is sold on another school & I'm trying to convince her to keep her options open & say the same during the interview in case no CO from former. Her reply, I'll rely on psle results to get in ( dream school ) then! I admire her determination on her top choice but what if psle results don't meet the cut??

It was not easy to be in 2nd round and your dd made it! So wat does that tell u? Do have some confidence in your dd. Do give her a chance to try at least. Anyway, jiayou and good luck! All the best!

No harm trying. They may see something in your daughter they like and make her an offer anyway. My daughter was in the same position (2011) as we had lived overseas and she hadn't had the opportunity to take part in all the things Singapore kids do, so she had nothing to show too. In the end, she received 1 CO and 1 rejection.

I doubt any school will announce CO or WL while other schools' DSA is still ongoing.
