Is there any example of the appeal letter?
I'm trying to type one out, but it doesn't look formal enough/I just don't know what to say.
Sorry. :?:
:thankyou:

Most schools would have their own appeal form. Check with the school that you are interested in appealing to.

Looks like top schools would be busy with appeals from Dec 23 onwards

What to do, that's part and parcel of their job at this time of the year! I am sure they are used to that by now!

Standard appeal letter usually ask for why you want to join XXX sch? What are your achievements.

Testimonials from CCA coach or form teacher.

Copy of PSLE result slip & if necessary P4-6 report book.

Not to depress first.

This year Express Student has 1000 number less than last year. 255 might already be good enough.

But the sec 3 DSA is cancelled. They cannot possibly take in that much in DSA (P6) to totally cover the number of pupils lost when they cancel Sec 3 DSA. Although not 4 marks that much, it would drop, surely.

Yeah 4 points is a lot to drop. Maybe 1 point to 258 ?

Can explain again how does has cancellation of Sec 3 DSA linked with intake into Sec 1 IP program from PSLE students ? I thought Sec 3 & Sec 1 are totally different batch ?

When I called them, they say that the cancellation of Sec 3 DSA means that the IP programme that starts form sec 3 is over. The whole thing merges into a 6 year IP programme with no sec 3 DSA. With no Sec 3 DSA, there would be lesser pupils in the IP programme, and hence, they are increasing slots, by 50, I heard.
