Not sure when the primary school selection thread has changed to only 'post topics' by mod so I put this under chit chat.

For selfish reasons, I am a bit miffed that SJIJ is moving to Geylang Bahru. It means a longer commute (or maybe just more difficult) every morning from AMK.

St. Joseph’s Institution Junior Jan 2012 to Jun 2013 School will temporarily hold at former Victoria School at Geylang Bahru Lane.

CHIJ Toa Payoh supposed to shift to above-mentioned temporary school next year but it's rather far and inconvenient with road works at Bendemeer. Thus it will be using former First Toa Payoh.

Sigh....
Did SJIJ chose to announce after the P1 registration. What a school!

Maybe the school doesn't have a choice. When I registered my daughter for P1 at CHIJ TP in August, it was stated on the board that the school will be temporarily relocating to Geylang Bahru from 2011 to 2013. The decision to stay put at Toa Payoh was made only after registration closed.

Yup agree with u Janet, probably is MOE decision too. All Primary school are going through the fix AM session transition...

Wondering at the temp sjij school, will all the P1 classes be in AM session?
I forgot to ask them last Saturday.
