Unlike entry to Primary Schools, admission into Secondary Schools is based on meritocracy. PSLE results are used as key admission criteria. Discuss everything related to PSLE and selection of Secondary Schools here.

PSLE result & posting

Postby jennykhots » Thu Aug 30, 2012 11:30 pm

Sorry,

can someone advise again when will be the period that we should travel after PSLE, I saw the thread some time ago but somehow I can find it now.

I have actually planned to go 9-21 Nov but then my girl does not want to miss her P6 graduation day.

Thanks

graduation day for pri 6 is something the child should not miss, purely from emotional point of view. it is once a life time. it is usually the saturday after the close of the school year. your girl's school calendar should have the date fixed already

PSLE result day is usually the last thursday of november

S1 posting date is usually 10 days before end of year, adjusted for weekend

you can work around those dates

Would PSLE result be on the 22nd or the 29th Nov then?

What are the protocol if one is not around to collect results?

Thanks

The release of PSLE results will only be confirmed sometime in Oct, I think.

If one is not around to collect the results slip in person, one will need to fill in a proxy form to authorize a third party to collect on behalf of him.

Th proxy form is here :

We cannot obtain the results and submit the S1 option form online?

You need to collect the results and S1 option form first in person before you can submit it online.
