Hi, My daughter will be
Hi,
My daughter will be register for her P1 this year .My elder son is P4 in West Grove Pri and my hubby was ex-River Valley Pri student. So my daughter has no problem in getting either 1 of them.
Would like to get advise whether RVP is more academically competitive than WGP.
My daughter is highly capable in studies and I'm thinking of putting her in a more competitive school so she won't feel bored.
Her K2 childcare teacher complained to me she's not paying attention in class. When I talk to her, she told me the lesson was so boring and she already knows everything. Her K2 all classworks gets full marks all the time. Her Chinese and English enrichment teachers told me she's fast learner and top in class and her math is already P1 level eventhough she's only K2.
I need advise whether to register her for River Valley Pri instead of West Grove eventhough we stay very near to West Grove.

Heard RVPS had a new Principal in Jan 2009, wonder whether he would maintain or push up the school to higher performance?
Too bad can't see this year PSLE as need to enroll in July 2009 for the P1 Registration.

River Valley Primary
River Valley Primary seem very strong in Chinese, maybe due to last time it is a chinese primary school. The school seem to be a well sought school where it always surface out balloting at Phase 2C (More than 2km).

I am looking into River Valley Primary School for my daughter (will be P1 next year) and would like to ask for some info from other parents (who may have children there):
- How do you find the school? How does your kid find the school?
- Is the school a right school for children coming from non-chinese speaking family? (Heard that this school is very strong in Chinese)
- Other comment or experience to share
