PV at South View Pri
Hihi,
My child is born in yr 07 and I stay within 1km of South View which is my No1 choice for pri sch.
Pls kindly advise do I need to do PV to guarantee my child can get into the school? If yes when should I apply to do PV. Also what are the chances of getting into the sch if I do not do PV?
Thks alot:)
Excuse me, but your
Excuse me, but your comments is clearly very frivolous and as I deemed it in layman terms"no-depth". In case you havent' done any research, Rulang does not have a more consistent academic record. And also, South View is also regarded as one of the top schools in Choa Chu Kang. It is also well-rounded and well-run and won many prestigious awards like "MOE sustained achievement awards". You state that more is expected from Rulang students. How sure are you? Do you have any evidence to substantiate that? You make comments blindly and do not think over them. You mentioned all the good points about Rulang. But I am very sure that South View had the same good points too, and even more. So why makes you think that MORE IS EXPECTED FROM RULANG STUDENTS? I am very disappointed to see such comments coming from CHIEFKIASU and I hope that you can really reflect upon your comments. I hope my good-willed criticisms will help you in your future endeavours. Thank you.
SVPS
Indeed a vibrant school ! Great variety of CCAs, enrichment programmes for both pupils and parents. Great facilities - air- conditioned hall , tennis court and a field for games.
Southview Vs Rulang
I would like to put my girl to either Southview or Rulang Pri. School for next year P1 registration but not sure which is better? I don't want my child to be too stressful cos I want her to enjoy her childhood. I heard that Rulang is very stressful (is it true??), can any one share with me your recommedation? Thankq.
South View vs Rulang
Rulang has more consistent academic record compared with South View and is generally regarded as one of the top schools in Jurong West. It is also quite well rounded and well-run and has won the very prestigious School Distinction Award (SDA) last year from the MOE. There will be stress on children regardless of whether they are from Rulang or South View... such is primary school education today. But you are right that more is expected from Rulang students.
