The National Gallery Singapore Gallery Children’s Biennale is a free, family-friendly art event specially designed to inspire young children through interactive, multi-sensory art and play. Since its launch in 2017, the Biennale has invited kids and families to explore creative ideas and engage with art that encourages learning, imagination and emotional growth.

Each edition centres on a thoughtful theme — for example, the 2025 edition titled “Tomorrow We’ll Be…” encourages children to reflect on the future through core values like Joy, Kindness, Dream and Love. Throughout the Gallery’s spaces, young visitors can interact with larger-than-life installations by local and regional artists, enjoy hands-on activities, and experience art in playful and inclusive ways that are suitable for kids of all ages, including babies.

Overall, the Children’s Biennale makes art accessible and engaging for families, fostering creativity, curiosity and meaningful conversations about the world around them.
