A school holiday family festival by the National Museum of Singapore that invites kids to get curious about Singapore’s river stories through play, art and storytelling. All the programmes listed below are free and designed for easy drop in participation.

📖 Get Curious! Building Our Singapore
An interactive role play installation where kids explore migrant journeys and create postcards inspired by early Singapore.

🚤 Between Tides & Ties
A large scale intergenerational boat art installation co created by children and seniors that families can add to.

🗺️ The River Hunt
A self guided mission style artefact hunt around the museum with small prizes while stocks last.

🎭 Kamishibai Storytelling
Traditional paper theatre storytelling sessions sharing river related tales on selected days.

✂️ Fold Your Own Fleet
A simple origami craft station where kids make and bring home boats inspired by Singapore’s past.

🎨 Make and Discover Weekends
Weekend drop in craft activities inspired by river themes and heritage landmarks.

🛝 PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026
A pop up play activity space encouraging free play and family interaction for young children.

📒 Children’s Season 2026 Stamp Booklet Activity
A stamp trail challenge around the museum that turns exploring into a fun mission.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who It’s For:
Preschoolers and primary school children with their families, especially parents looking for free, hands on and screen light school holiday outings. Come prepared with water bottles, comfortable clothing and a curious spirit.
