This free event is for girls between the ages of 15 to 18 years old.

Get to know Agilent women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) jobs. Learn about who and what motivated them to pursue this career path and how they navigated the path where STEM based program and career are perceived to be more suitable for men. Network and chat with Agilent scientists and engineers and ask any questions that you may have.

Take a tour of Agilent’s manufacturing facility and learn more about how a life sciences company like Agilent contributes to advancing the quality of life.

• Take a look inside of our Global Lighthouse Factory.
• Firsthand interactions with our scientists to understand how our customers use our products across the Pharma and Biopharma, Food Safety, Chemical and Advanced Materials, Environmental and Forensics, Diagnostics and Clinical, Academia and Government Sectors.

Learning Objectives:

This course allows participants to learn about women in STEM jobs through panel discussion, interactions with scientists and engineers, and a tour of the factory facilities.

Date: Wednesday, 3 September 2024, 1:30pm -5:30pm

Venue: Agilent Technologies Building, 1 Yishun Ave 7, S768923. Arrive at by 1:20pm.

Alternate Meeting Point: Yishun MRT Station. Arrive by 12:45pm.

Program:

1.30 pm - Arrival of guests and registration

2.00 pm - Welcome and ice breaking

2.20 pm - Panel forum

3.15 pm - Breakout for tour and walk to destination

3.30 pm - Tour GSDC and Factory starts

5:00 pm – Networking and Refreshment

5.30 pm – End of Program

Bring your water bottle and a jacket in case you feel cold.
Wear covered shoes.
Eat your lunch before attending this event. Only light refreshments will be provided.
