The Spinning Hand Drum Painting workshop is a creative craft activity where you get to decorate your own hand-held drum with paint and personal designs. Participants use paint and spin the drum to create colourful, expressive patterns on the drum surface — blending art and playful motion into a unique keepsake.

The workshop is part of the Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts 2026 series and is guided by facilitators from Happy Hands Can, a family-run creative group that focuses on joyful, meaningful handmade projects. It’s designed to be fun and accessible, suitable for all ages (children under 12 must be accompanied by a caregiver), and is conducted in English and Mandarin.

The sessions are held multiple times from 28 Feb–8 Mar 2026, 3:30-6pm at the Esplanade Concourse, providing plenty of opportunities to join in and craft your own painted drum.
