003. Help your child find his or her passion

We can’t live through our children.  It is their career, not ours.

All the great commencement speeches talk about doing something you are passionate about.

Help your children to find out what that means to them.

"An excellent plumber is infinitely more admirable than an incompetent philosopher. The society, which scorns excellence in plumbing because plumbing is a humble activity, and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because it is an exalted activity, will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy.  Neither its pipes nor theories will hold water."

– John Gardner

Helping your child

i think one great way to help your child is to ask them to develop their hobbies, which they can learn new things. They should be exposed to certain events too.

Tough but rewarding route!

Agreed. Develop their passion

Agreed. Develop their passion not just academic wise but sport wise.

Should also expose them to different cultures and experiences. For me, i bought them to share their used (but new) toys with those kids living in the local 1room flat and donate to some mum beggars with young babies.

the above is absolutely true. We hope to lead the way, provide clues and try to open as many doors for them as possible but ultimately its their choice
