Phase 2A of the 2024 P1 Registration will be on 11 and 12 June 2024.

There are already a number of schools with more than 40% of their places taken up. The following are schools with 50% or more of their places filled:

Oasis Primary (51%)
Fern Green Primary (53%)
Springdale Primary (50%)
St Hilda’s Primary (50%)
Naval Base Primary (53%)

Looking at this list, other than the very hot St Hilda’s Primary, it is good to see that many of these schools are good neighborhood schools.  However, it could be that many parents are hedging their bets, getting their kids in early while monitoring the take-up rate of their truly desired schools, in later Phases.  It is still too early to tell at this stage.  Regardless, kudos to the planners at MOE for making this possible.

We have also included a “2023” column to reflect the take-up rate of last year’s Phase 2A registration.  In the last column of this table is the “Cohort” column, which shows the overall difference between the total number of vacancies offered this year compared to last year’s.  As you can see, many schools have lost 30 places (1 class).
