Kids just can’t get enough Hi-5! So give them the opportunity to dance along with the famous fivesome when they return to Singapore this December with a new theatrical show.
Presenting Hi-5 Fairytale, the award-winning Australian pre-school television and musical group will take children and parents on an adventure of never seen before princesses and knights, travelling bugs and dancing dinosaurs. They will be laughing along with the brave Prince of Knights and Sir Bucket Head who try to awaken the beautiful but cheeky Princess Sleepyhead.
Think you or your kids know all the famous fairytales? The Hi-5 extravaganza will put a new twist on the stories with their signature Hi-5 touch. Parents will be in for a good laugh and kids will get to see some great characters from the television show come to life on stage.
Kids can fully immerse in the fairytales with the help of the loveable Hi-5 puppet Chatterbox, who will be narrating from her magical Hi-5 book of Sharing Stories. Other well-loved charaters like Speedy the Ant, Slomo the Snail and Jup Jup will also make their presence felt on stage.
More than just a concert, it will be a visual spectacle promising unique costumes, life-size set changes and state-of-the-art projection and lighting. Also, expect to be “edutained” as the Hi-5 Fairytale will help to improve children’s logical thinking, coordination, vocabulary and visual awareness.
Hi-5 Tour Director, Greg Suzuki said, “What makes the Hi-5 shows a huge success is that we incorporate elements from the television series encompassing Howard Gardner’s and Jean Piaget’s theories of child development, and put it on stage. Hi-5 Fairytale will focus on specific Hi-5 movement songs, dances, finger plays, games and rhymes to help children explore nature’s wonders, build team skills, use their imaginations and learn about the world through play.”
Get set for a fun-filled family adventure , Hi-5 style, with their signature elements of imagination, problem-solving and positive play. Of course, you’ll also get to sing and dance along to their well-loved numbers such as L.O.V.E, Wish Upon a Star and of course Living in a Fairytale.
