NETS GET IT FOR FREE Auction: FAQ

Q:  I am interested to accumulate points for bidding.  How do I earn my points?

A:  You get to earn 1 NETS KiasuPoints (NKPs) for every $1 spent when you use NETS to make purchases at participating education / enrichment sector merchants.

Q:  Is it compulsory for me to use NETS if I want to earn points and participate in the auction?

A:  Yes, you are required to use NETS when you make purchases at participating education / enrichment sector merchants in order to earn for the points and to participate in the auction.

Q:  How can I register for my points?

A:  You may log on to www.kiasuparents.com.sg to register for NKPs by entering the required fields and NETS receipt details.

Q: Can I pay for my NKPs?

A: Sorry, you are not able to pay for the NKPs. All NKPs can only be earned when you use NETS for your purchases at participating enrichment and/or education related merchants.

Q:  When do I get my NKPs upon entering the purchase amount from my NETS receipt?

A: Your NKPs will automatically be credited into your account immediately once you’ve entered the required fields and purchase amount successfully.

Q:   When is the qualifying period for the auction?

A:  The qualifying period of the Auction is from 26 August 2011 to 29 February 2012.

Q:  What is the duration of each auction?

A:  Each auction will be held for a month.

Q:  What is the schedule of the auctions?

A:  Please refer to the following table.

Q: What if I did not enter enough NKPs to bid?

A: If the amount is not enough, no points will be deducted. A response would be generated: “Sorry, you do not have enough NKPs. Please click here to claim your NKPs.”

Q: How do I know if I have enough NKPs for bidding?

A: Your available points will be reflected in your account.

Q: How do I know if I am the leading bidder?

A: If you are the leading bidder, there will be a response generated and would be: “Congratulations, you are now the leading bidder.”

Q: What happens to my NKPs if I am being outbidded by other bidders?

A: The NKPs being placed will be credited back to the account.

Q: Can I claim my NKPs using the same receipt more than once?

A: Sorry, the claiming of NKPs is limited to one receipt per claim. The system will auto reject any duplication of claims.

Q: What if I did not win the auction, do I get my NKPs back?

A: Yes, the NKPs will be credited back to your account if you did not win the auction.

Q: Any limitation on the amount entered in exchange for NKPs?

A: There is no limitation on the amount entered. You are entitled to earn the NKPs as long as you use NETS for your purchases at participating education and/or enrichment sector merchants and by entering the required fields successfully when you claim for your NKPs.

Q: How do I know if I have won the auction and when do I collect my prize?

A: When the auction ends and if you are the winning bidder, NETS will first authenticate the transactions as submitted when you claim for your NKPs to bid in the auction. Following that, www.kiasuparents.com.sg will send a formal letter of notification to you and on the collection of prizes within 1 month from the date the auction ends if there is no discrepancy.

In the event if there is any discrepancy, winners will be requested to present all original NETS receipts for verification and NETS reserves the right to disqualify winners who cannot prove the authenticity of their NKP claims.

Q: Can I bid and win more than 1 prize within the same month?

A: Yes, you can bid and win more than 1 prize within the same month as long as you have enough points in your account for bidding.

Q: How do I collect for my prize?

A: The collection location and period will be stated in the letter of notification. Please present your NRIC and the original letter of notification when you collect for your prize.

Q: Can I cancel my bid after I’ve won the auction?

A: Sorry, you are unable to cancel your bid after you’ve won the auction. All winning bids are final and conclusive.

Q: If I have won the bid at one auction, can I continue to bid for other auctions?

A: Yes, you can bid for other auctions as long as you have enough points in your account for bidding.
