This centre prides itself in striking a balance between work and play by infusing arts and creativity-based activities in its programme. Recognising that each child is unique, Out of the Box Kids’ Club maintains a low student-teacher ratio, and provides a customised timetable that caters to the learning needs and interests of each individual. School work supervision and academic guidance remain a priority. In addition to in-house Chinese , Math and English/ Creative Writing tuition, conducted by NIE/MOE-trained teachers and experienced tutors, other popular enrichment activities include Art, Chess and Lego Robotics.
Currently they are having an Early Bird registration (from now up to 16 November 2012) for the 2013 enrolment. All registrations during the Early Bird period will enjoy a waiver of the registration fee of $80 and complimentary Math, Chinese or English tuition for the 1st month! As they have limited places, come down to their Open House on 3 November 2012 (from 9am to 12pm) to find out more! Their convenient location along Bukit Timah Road (next to Coronation Plaza) makes it ideal for parents whose children will be attending the primary schools in the vicinity of their centre. What’s more, Out of the Box Kids’ Club has also planned a fun-filled holiday programme for the December school holidays. In line with their vision of Learning through Love and Laughter, they have a great 2-week camp that includes:
Lil’ Master Chef: for the upcoming holidays, the kids can look forward to “D-I-Y Salted Caramel Vanilla ice cream” and “Colourful Cupcake Making”! The kids will be engaged in various hands-on activities, learn to work as a team in a fun way, pick up basic baking and cooking skills and learn about the importance of nutrition and have a go at being creative in food preparation.
Outings: the kids will be heading to “Gardens by the Bay”, into the botanical world, which is beautiful, intriguing and always full of surprises! We’ll also be taking the kids to Singapore Art Museum. It’s never too early to nurture in our kids an appreciation for art, and at the same time, develop their creative and analytical thinking!
Art workshop: “Rainforest” Canvas Painting is a fun and educational art lesson that will walk the kids through the diversity of the rainforest life and steps they can take to preserve it, with rainforest art and craft.
“Atom Robots Workshop – Incorporating Science”: Robotics is universally recognized as a powerful learning tool for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M). Most importantly, it’s a whole load of fun for the kids!
Social Etiquette workshop: Manners and etiquette for children are ranked as the most important qualities to nurture in our young ones. Research shows that a child’s social skill is the number one factor in influencing his/her future success!
They are offering limited spaces to the public (for children aged 7 to 12 years old) at an attractive rate of $320 per week, so call them up early to reserve your place. Each day’s activities start from 9am and end at 5pm and lunch and tea will be provided.
