Many parents have asked about the revised English Language Syllabus and the revised PSLE format. What are the expectations? What are the challenges?
There are challenges, indeed; the main one for parents being that the revised examination components can no longer be drilled through assessment books. What your child needs to ace the PSLE English Language examination is competent language command, both in oral and written communication skills. How, then, can parents help? What mode of support should parents give?
Cognizant of the anxieties and concerns many parents have, this talk offers insights into the revised English Language syllabus and shares with parents how they can better facilitate their children’s English Language learning journey and guide them towards more satisfying results in the revised PSLE English Language Paper.
All four Papers of the PSLE English Language Examination will be covered. Parents will be given a comprehensive overview of the demands of each of the Papers and the expectations to be met.
