Considering the overall intensity of applicants per Phase for each school in the 2016 P1 Registration exercise, we are able to work out the top 10 most popular Primary Schools in Singapore in 2016.
The schools are as follows, in decreasing order of popularity:

CHIJ SNGS continues to be the most popular school in Singapore. ACS (Primary) went from 16th place to 2nd on the back of a very robust Phase 2A(2) such that 92% of its places are taken up by Phase 2B. Nanyang went from 14th place to 3rd place also due to intense competition in Phase 2A(2) and Phase 2B.
Since the available places for these schools have remained unchanged for the 2017 exercise, it is likely the same schools will continue to be as competitive as last year.
