The ‘two wolves’ inside us all.

Haloo KSPs, a little story on values to share with all..

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, ‘My son, the battle is between ‘two wolves’ inside us all.

‘One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.’

‘The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.’

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, ‘Which wolf wins?’

The old Cherokee simply replied, ‘The one you feed.’

Good I guessed correctly

Thanks buds for explaining for me. Hope you are doing great!! I was not aware that this was in the portal.

You are right about the all the initial tie-up. And now is the next stage, I’m still very tied up now with work, reno, packing and soon moving, unpacking and then P1 registration… exhausted.. to tell you the truth besides all that I was also kinda on a self-imposed rehabilitation for my addiction to KSP..

Missed you gals and guys so much. Wah, KSP has really grown so much. So many new people also!! Eh…I can’t go into NOTTI CORNER leh..

Everyone has two side. The

Everyone has two side. The main thing is which side win the battle.

Miss ya, buddy..

Winth, RRMummy isn’t exactly back yet.. The article is taken from one of our threads sometime last year, if i remember correctly. RRMummy has been busy with work, house hunting and primary school hunting. Have been meaning to catch up with her personally over some time now… i’ll let her know she’s on the portal. Then, maybe if things has more or less settled down in her household… it’ll entice her to come back actively to KSP. Even if it’s HSP, HSP won’t quite be the same without RRMummy.. She oso one more tigress. Grrrr…

If you’re reading this RRMummy, i miss ya buddy. Hope you’re well.

A very meaningful

A very meaningful story…RRmummy.  May we all feed the good wolf.

Welcome back! RR Mummy

So long neva hear from you.

Here to be in time for the auction??

Hi RR mummy, It's been

Hi RR mummy, It’s been quite sometime since I heard from you. Thanks for sharing this.

yes, very often we r what

yes, very often we r what we choose to be. n the more we choose a certain path, the easier it is to choose that path again. thank u for a meaningful story 🙂

just wondering if my dd can understand the complexity of the subject. u see, for young children, i find it easier to teach them the concept of what is right. only when they r older, and realise they can make choices (eg. can choose to defy parents’ instructions etc ) then i wil be able to teach them they have a choice – a choice to live with the good and right values vs a choice to live with the wrong ones. n i wil paint to her the consequences of the right and the wrong so she can make the right choice on her own.

Nice story

Short and simple in words but so profound. Thanks for sharing.

Short and meaningful.

Short and meaningful.  Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us.

This is an excellent story telling us how we want to live, how we choose to live.  I will remember this story and will remind myself to feed the Good Wolf…

Hi RRMummy

VERY timely.

A very short and simple parable which is very to the point, and hence easy to comprehend and remember.

You know what, I am going to simplify it even more to my toddler’s level and share it with him tomorrow.  He will learn a new animal too – the wolf

Thank you for sharing.
