“Asian Tales” Floral Display

Gardens by the Bay ushers in the Lunar New Year with a brand new floral display. Entitled “Asian Tales”, this floral showcase draws inspiration from the scenic, mountainous landscape often depicted in Chinese brush paintings. Spot goats, sculpted out of wood and flowers, perching on the ridge and grazing in the field, as you take in the picturesque landscape dotted with vibrant Dahlia blooms (大丽花) specially cultivated to celebrate the Year of the Goat.
“Asian Tales” is the first of six chapters as Gardens by the Bay embarks on a storytelling journey in 2015. This enchanting series of floral displays for the year will draw visitors into the magical world of folklore, legends, fairy tales and nursery rhymes as told through the language of plants.
