Re: Kaplan or unisim

I understand from my neighbor that Unisim and SIM is not the same Uni.Unisim is similar to NTU,NUS and SMU so it is better than private.Anyone can feedback? They are not similar. But they are better than private. In my opinion, you should rank the universities in Singapore as such: 1. NUS/NTU/SMU/Y...

Re: Let's Talk about National Service

Actually it is the PT instructors job to make sure the recruits have a proper warm up but then how many really bother ? They do bother. The PTs are very professional. Some of them are even ex-national sportsmen. One of my PT was a boxer that represented Sg. From warm-up to cool down there are alway...

Re: NUS or NTU

I didn't expect DDD/C. Is that still the situation now? They are trying to attract more top local students into engineering. New scholarships and higher salaries in public service just started this year. So it would take some time for it to take effect. But even then, most of these top students go ...

Re: NUS or NTU

From what we know of and see for ourselves, NTU have alot of a common nationality(free schorlarship type) I shall not mention here where they come from. Yes NUS will always be the best choice due to global ranking But when NUS is not an option SMU will be the next available option based on one's ch...

Re: NUS or NTU

Accountancy graduates are in higher demand than business and economics graduates due to the market demand and supply forces. The local uni are currently not producing enough to fill the market demands. While the top jobs of accountancy fresh graduates can be above $7k-8k or even above $10k, the vas...

Re: MRT train killed 2

The result will be the same as SGH Hep C case. They will tell you that the management will be "disciplined" and "warned" and just move on. If SGH case 8 deaths no heads roll, what makes you think 2 deaths here anything will happen?

Re: NUS or NTU

It really depends on the course. If wanna compare must compare in the narrower sense. Biz vs biz, Psych vs Psych etc. Some courses are better at NTU than at NUS. You really have to look quite deep into it. It also depends on the specialisation and concentrations that one intends to do. This will be ...
