Re: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

I agree that traffic this morning was heavy. Felt like 75% when we dropped off kid at a school along the Bukit Timah stretch.

Re: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

The Gill mask is too heavy to wear comfortably for extended hours. I think the most practical is still the surgical mask for wearing from 7 am to 2 pm.

Re: All About Ortho-K

It's better not to start OrthoK during the circuit breaker period in case you need urgent access to an optician. Also, I don't think it is considered an essential service at this stage. Perhaps put on hold until opticians can resume all services? On rubbing eyes, it should not be a habit (whether fo...

Re: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

I didn't realize that the requirements for face coverings are either face shield or face masks.

Anyone has any thoughts on which is more comfortable?

In terms of protection, face shields protects the eyes? However, there is no air filter per se for shields.

There was a lot of time pressure to get what one wants, and to leave ASAP. The shop can accommodate only six persons, of whom three are st...

Re: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

Thanks skyminecrafter! Will try RL - the prices look to be super reasonable. Do you live in West area too? oh yes, for those living in the West, Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre no longer allows public entry of cars/shoppers. The Sheng Shiong at West Coast was frightening last Saturday - long queues t...

Re: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

My IC ends in odd number - will be going to Phoon Huat Buona Vista tomorrow. I do suspect that cleaning services, lift maintenance, grass cutting, etc have been cut back. Oh yes Esteema, I have bought half duck from He Ji (West Coast Food Centre) on a few occasions during the Circuit Breaker period....

Re: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

Anyone noticed a reduction in maintenance or other services, apart from reduced public transport frequency? A friend living in private property was notified that refuse will no longer be collected everyday, due to reduced services. For the past two days, an entire row of streetlamps (by a walking pa...
