Re: 2016 JCs COP and posting results

I don't understand why a JC COP discussion can slant so much into a 'Bash NYJC COP and its P' discussion. To Park, I honestly think it's fine to have personal opinions. But to bash the JC and its P to this extend is a bit uncalled for. And by the way, do let your child to chose another JC. With your...

Re: E8 FOR ENGLISH

Thanks for the tips and I have 1 question. Do I need to spend 2 or 1 year(s) if I went to ITE higher nitec and go poly afterwards? My neighbour who has the same results as you is in 2 years ITE higher nitec As kitty2 mentioned, Higher Nitec is a 2 year programme. You can choose to go to Poly after ...

Re: 2016 JCs COP and posting results

Absolutely. In the same line of logic, TJC is lousy ONLY when compared to the top tier JCs. TJC is still a pretty good JC on its own, just that market forces of supply and demand made a high-end mid-tier JC (like NYJC) overtake a low-end high tier JC (TJC). Make sense? :hi5: Woah woah woah, one fou...

Re: 2016 JCs COP and posting results

I beg to differ. Do you notice that from yr 2008 onwards, it's not only tjc but all the top jcs like ri, hci, vjc and njc had also disappeared from the chart. Only the mid and low-tier jcs remained. Obviously, the upper tier jcs are no longer in the 'hall of fame' as moe could have changed its crit...

Re: 2016 JCs COP and posting results

Year 2012 onwards School Awards scrapped. And the speculation starts. You can see TJC's fall from grace started in 2007. Those who are still speculating here why TJC isn't up there with the rest belonged to the 2000-2006 era. I beg to differ. Do you notice that from yr 2008 onwards, it's not only t...

Re: 2016 JCs COP and posting results

So is TJC undervalued and NYJC overvalued? I went to do some history digging in MOE website and hereby cite the value-added data since 2000.
