There's always the danger of IP students slacking off in their secondary school years due to a lack of academic pressure. On the other hand, it gives them more opportunities for self discovery and exploration.

Both A Levels & IB are perfectly okay I think. The rest depends on the admission tests and interviews

A third language is a heavy commitment, and it's not easy to main proficiency after finishing the exams. You are able to drop out halfway through though

A levels is certainly more academically rigorous than the IB. If you are thinking of applying to overseas universities, the IB might give you a more competitive application.

I believe tuition is only necessary when the school teacher fails to do his/her job well. Otherwise, please consult your children on the matter and do not force tuition on them.
