Re: Section B (open ended questions) for science

My DD had the same problem last year. She was doing poorly in Section B, getting almost failing marks. I came across Ace Scorers (, Joyous Learning ( and CCE ( from various suggestions in this forum. I have just signed-up for one of t...

Re: All About Dyslexia

I believe there are some schools who are dyslexia-friendly. You may want to check them out. I think MOE may have a list.

Re: No More Rote Memorization

Monotonous repetition of school lessons made my daughter lose focus in school. Her repeating topics and lessons verbally or by hand over and over again led to boredom and disengagement from school. I think rote learning is applicable only to alphabets, numbers and other topics that need memorization...

Re: All About Puberty

I think children reach puberty earlier than during our time. That's why I think parents and schools should orient little girls on the what's and how's of menses. It's better if they are prepared with what to expect and how to go about it.

Re: Online shopping

I'm not against online shopping but I think we have to be extra careful when doing so. There are a lot of sites that take advantage of people's vulnerability so we should be all forewarned.

Re: All About Bullying

Bullying is not something that should be brushed off. However, kids should not handle the issue themselves. Parents and/or teachers should step in once bullying of any type starts. There should be warning signs that everyone should be aware of. Sadly, bullying is an ongoing epidemic that has yet to...

Re: Why failure is good for our child?
