Re: All About Parenting Teenagers

The hardest part is getting teenagers to come out of their rooms and/or talk. How was your day? Ok. Do you need help? Grunt. LOL. First of all, I think this is the new normal. Re: Passion in learning

It is extremely important to have passion in learning. Learning a new skill helps you learn things faster over time. One of the best things about life is that we never have to stop learning. So we shouldn't right? We should learn more things to also adapt to it and take it to our advantage.

Re: Should I study medicine?

Medical school can be overwhelming, time consuming and hard to navigate but if it is really your passion to take medicine, then you should go for it. Put all your passion while studying and it will all work out well in the end.

Love and understand her at all times. She may have flaws but learn to embrace it. Just assure her that you'll be beside her at times when she feels down.

MOM doesn't allow employers to keep passports (also cannot keep money for FDWs, I recall).

FDWs are smart and have friends - you won't want to give them any reason from lodging a complaint.
I agree. Better safe than sorry.

Love can be expressed in several ways and there's no need to spend too much to express affection to your partner or children.

Re: How to help my kids to develop a good hobby ?

Sigh, mine keeps changing and cannot seem to hold the hobby/interest for long. Every few months seems to change. Jack of all trades, master of none... I understand how you feel. I almost run out of patience with my child because he wanted to buy a lot of stuff whenever he finds a certain hobby suit...

Re: Myanmar maids

We also had a bad experience with our former Myanmar maid. She only stay for three days. We caught her on the CCTV that she is trying to open our locked closet. We called her agency and asked them to replace her with a trustworthy one.

Re: All about Dishwasher

We bought Electrolux and I think the brand model is ESF5511LOX. It costs S$900 when we bought it. It is big enough for a family of five, easy to use and user-friendly. I am hoping that this will last long because its a bit expensive. We are also planning to buy the same dishwasher soon, and I would...
