I suggest wooden blocks for 2 year olds. There are endless possibilities for building and younger kids can safely chew them just make sure the blocks are painted with non-toxic paint.

Hey, Acidica! Don't you try to use online courses? Some of them are pretty interesting but I'm not sure this kind of "education" is an appropriate way for 9yo boy.
