Re: Pores treatment

I've had a similar procedure with Dr Colin Tham-- profractional laser. It definitely helped to minimize my enlarged pores and fine lines and make them a lot less noticeable. Be prepared to experience some mild redness and sunburn feeling tho, but these should subside after a few days so no worries :...

Re: how to hv a better sleep?

I agree with Honey. When I had trouble sleeping several months back, what I did was that I would walk or run for 30mins to 1 hour at nights. It helps to really tire yourself :D Plus when sleeping I don't place my phone near me to avoid the temptation of chatting or going to social media or watching ...

Re: Choosing the Right Doctor in SG

Personally I ask recommendations from my GP or my family, friends and officemates. Some clinics also have Google listings (they have reviews there from previous patients) and also reviews on social media pages.

Re: Back Pain

Thank you for the advice gojennygo. I am experiencing back pain intermittently. I have tried a lot of home remedies but it did not work. Now I am considering to see a doctor. Yes please Czeec80, always best to see a doc esp if the pain is not going away. I hope everything will be okay with you. Ple...

Re: Back Pain

It definitely helps to see a doctor for any back pain, especially if you're older or if the back pain is persistent. I remember my father saw Dr Sean Ng for back pain before, and it turned out it was an early sign of arthritis. Thankfully it was an early diagnosis so treatment was given promptly as ...

Re: Cataract Surgery - Recommend Doctor

For those who are still seeking a cataract surgeon, I would strongly recommend Dr Steve Seah :) He did my grandma's cataract surgery (both eyes) and now she has better eyesight than me. The procedure was really quick too. Hi, may I know if you can check with Dr Seah on how do we prepare ourselves t...

Re: Removal of Skin Tags

I used to have one large one near my nose, but since it was protruding a lot it was easier to remove by myself, though there was bleeding afterward (no pain tho). For smaller tags, I think it's better to see a derma to have them safely removed. Much quicker too

Re: Overweight Has an Adverse Effect on Ability to Study in Kids

I couldn't agree more. It's also better to start helping them to maintain a healthy weight at a young age, since from experience, it would be a lot harder to lose weight when you're older.

Re: Honest thoughts about having a male gynae?

I personally don't mind having a male gynae, considering that they are trained and experienced healthcare professionals. I'm currently seeing a male gynaecologist who we also chose as our obstetrician for our first child. So far my experience has been pleasant, not at all awkward. His name is Dr Chr...
