I recently did my eyebag removal surgically. Tried many rounds of other options and couldn't get rid. But it was worth it after. Rest well ladies!
Wow, you are brave. Where did you do it? How's the post op effect? Was swelling bad?

Many numbers on the sign boards within the stations, some referring to exits, some to l...

Re: Travel: Korea - General

I have booked air tickets to Seoul for July. Wish to stay next to the Metro station and where somewhere 'in town'. Is Myeondong a good place to stay? How about Dongdaemon? Any recommendation on a good accommodation near Metro in this 2 areas? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re: How much is enough for retirement in Singapore?

Fairy, What was the highest ever transacted resale price around your neighborhood, say in year 2013? I tend to agree with MP that for the past 20 years, you could have once or twice covered losses and moved on which you didn’t. Another reason could be that you bought at the peak of 1996/97 just bef...

Re: How much is enough for retirement in Singapore?

They bought at around $300k. With accrued interest and levy, not much cash to recover. Surprised to hear that. How can it be that someone who bought a resale flat in 1996 could still be losing money / not making profit? I bought a new flat from hdb in 1996, collected key in 1999. Flat valuation has...

Was it really that high? New 5-rms were no more than $200k then, right?
My new exec was $430k at outskirts.

Re: How much is enough for retirement in Singapore?

I know of friends who bought resale during the peak around 1996. Today, even if they sell their unit, will not be able to recover much cash. Besides location, timing is also important. It's true. That is my situation now. New flat direct from HDB was overpriced then. Current valuation is close to m...
