We want to educate ourselves so that we are there to guide. Are there any watch outs based on one's experie...

Re: Guy who filmed NUS undergrad showering.....

If taking video of woman showering merely slapped a $2000 fine, then something is wrong and it is time to review and update the system. Jmo.

Re: Guy who filmed NUS undergrad showering.....

From the police and AGC's point of view, a conditional warning in lieu of prosecution for a $1,000-$2,000 fine is not inappropriate. Re: Guy who filmed NUS undergrad showering.....

So what if he is a university grad? It is how you contribute to society that counts. Academic achievements should not be a key consideration in the outcome imo. As what Josephus Tan, the lawyer, commented, I do agree with him that the culprit should be prosecuted in court and judged. If case is hand...

Just curious, if he had committed the same offence in a public place like a swimming pool, will he be given similar sentence or will he definitely end up in jail?

Re: do army shops provide value for money

I was looking high and low for a shop to repair my son's torn deuter bag and finally found it there! Well sewn and so cheap ($6 or $8 only if I recall correctly) vs buying a new deuter bag! I am really thankful for these shops!

Re: Rental questions

Oh, sorry, I may have misread your posting. All I know is my condo has a high percentage of Japanese living there. River valley used to be popular with Japanese but now there have been so many new developments. So, it may have changed. I had an offer that starts a few days after my lease ends. But i...
