Re: DSA 2016

Anyone offered 3rd language (jap, German, French, Spanish) with tscore lower than 252? I am trying to find out what's the cut off tscore for top 10% this year. It's said to be 255 last year.

Re: Dunman High School [*IP]

I am already a year too late in doing this. My ds is already in DHS. My sister's Ds is taking psle this year so I am trying to finish my 'unfinished biz' hoping to help her make a good decision.. In a way, I am hoping to get some reassurance knowing DHS's IP program is solid. I don't hv that confide...

Re: Dunman High School [*IP]

Thanks Augmum, your 'rough idea' gives me reassurance!! You know, I wonder, how VJC will fair in A level results when their first batch of IP finishes A levels! If by then, VJC 's A level results is still better than DHS's, I will be really impressed with VJC! Because, if it generally basically woul...

Re: [Bedok/Katong/Marine Parade/Siglap] Preschools

Any one has experience with Raffles Montesorri kindergarten at Stangee Road (Still Road)? I can't seem to find any reviews on this school. Heard that it previously was a childcare center. Management undergone some changes a few years ago. Anyone has children in this school, care to share?

Re: Dunman High School [*IP]

Thanks phtthp! I am so in need to discuss this with someone! Agree on your point A! So NJC VJC will continue to accept good JAE students, while DHS does not.. On your point B, I know what you are saying, but don't quite agree, cos those problems such as low tscore of dsa students, bad time managemen...

Re: Dunman High School [*IP]

Not sure, that's why I am hoping to find out! By right if there is nothing wrong with DHS's IP program, DHS Should rank number THREE in A level performance. I am assuming that the same batch of good students who entered DHS S1 with the FIFTH HIGHEST PSLE COP in the country, will emerge just as good ...

Re: Dunman High School [*IP]

How do we know how DHS fairs in terms of A level performance? When searching for A level performance school ranking, I found that DHS is always being left out! All the JCs are listed by ranking but there is no DHS! I believe DHS should rank number 3, after RJC and HCI, since by PSLE cop it's ranked ...

Re: All About T-Score

At the beginning of this thread, CrazyDad kindly came out with a formula to calculate T-scores using means and standard deviations. But that was based on stats of ard 5 years ago. I find that very enlightening. It revealed that scoring for Maths plays an impt part in getting high T-scores at least d...

Re: DSA 2014

One doesn't need to reject a CO until PSLE result is out, am I correct to say this?
