Re: DSA 2022

Wrt OP/IP “segregation”, I am not referring to timetables or class allocations. Of course those are separated because they learn different things in their respective curriculums. I believe ACSI (correct me if I am wrong here) has separate wings in the school for IP and OP and they are not allowed to...

Re: DSA 2022

We just got home from the SJI Open House today. I went with an open mind & did not influence DS either way. I was very impressed by the official talk given by the principal and school leaders. They explained everything parents wanted to know in an extremely clear manner. The student tour guides & CC...

Re: Discipline

Your son has leadership potential. What he chooses to do with those leadership skills is important to society isnt it? Lead others to do bad or do good? There is no honor or respect for a soccer team if they win thru eg match fixing or dubious means. I hope he can learn that respect and admiration f...

Re: Discipline

I agree with LNW above. It is a major offence in any school or organization’s rule book (see example here: https://teckwhyesec.moe.edu.sg/students/rules-guidance-and-procedure/school-rules-and-regulations/minor-and-major-offences/) More importantly consider it a chance to reflect on why it was moral...

Re: 2022 PSLE Discussions & Strategies (born in 2010)

All the best. Meantime my son has finally clawed his way out of the deep pit of AL6 by getting 130/200 for CL.

Re: 2022 PSLE Discussions & Strategies (born in 2010)

Can I check if there’s any standard practice for schools to round up or down if there’s 0.5? Say 89.5 will be rounded up to 90, 84.5 rounded up to 85? Or will it be rounded down or remain as it is. So 89.5 will be AL2? Mathematically speaking, all 0.5 will be rounded up to the nearest whole number....

Yes following multiple sports although no time to watch actual matches. Singapore is doing well and reaping many medals in even the non-traditional favourites.

Re: ME TIME!

The 30-egg tray only seems to have smaller eggs…anyone knows where to buy bigger eggs (70g or bigger) in bulk?

Our family likes to eat them sunny side up…it’s quite miserable seeing a tiny sun with those 50-60g eggs.
