Re: How to Make Internet Surfing Safer for the Kids?

Thank you all for the great pointers and recommendations. I'm not IT savvy at all, so am treading very gingerly. They have also started to ask for downloading of apps. I'll like to hear on what your stand is on such requests and how to draw a line once started. Any views welcomed please?

Re: River Valley Primary

Hi fellow parents I need help here for after-school transport from RVPS to Eunos Crescent (near to Eunos MRT Station) for my P2 child starting this August. Poh Lee doesn't serve the east at all, much to my dismay. I'm wondering if anyone can help. We can arrange a fee or I may be able to help with t...

Hello! May I ask if P2 kids stay back in school after formal school hours? Are there any CCA or remedial lessons conducted by the teachers? If they do, can I have an indication of how frequent these take place? Thanks.

Hi, have you considered going to Dyslexia Association of Singapore? $695 for the full assessment including report. Cheaper than private psychologists as they are government funded. It is a non-profit organisation, and will provide discounts on a sliding scale based on income. Most importantly, they ...

Re: Any psychologist to recommend?

Hi Bluegin, I'm not sure if you have found a psychologist for your child by now. It depends on what type of psychologists you are after. We have Clinical Psychologists with the hospitals. MOE has Educational Psychologists if you think your child has a learning disorder. The public child psychologist...

Re: All About Gymnastics

Thanks GymKraft. Based on the information you provided, it seems to me less important to consider gymnastics in primary/ secondary school selection. Although it's true that it'll be a bonus if a child gets to represent the School as gymnast. Many thanks!
