Re: DSA 2019

Not bragging but would like to hear you all opinions... if you DD got CO from CGS (30min from home) and SNGS-Not IP (70 min from home). What will you choose and why? Both are good schools. SNGS has strong sch identity & strong alumni but starting sec sch in one with pri sch affiliation can be like ...

Re: DSA 2019

Hi, how are kids on WL notified on PSLE result release day? In the form of letter together with PSLE result slip? Anyone can advise? Last yr, each student gets a result slip plus a s1 option form (with particulars & personalised pin to enter e-system & submit options). The 1st section has an empty ...

Re: St. Joseph's Institution

Another factor of consideration is the relationship between the "victim" & his cca peers. If they have always been on good terms, there should be certain extent of care for each other (maybe this could be the view of the teacher ic). However, if "victim" has been an ongoing "target", then this incid...

Re: DSA 2019

Some sch link DSA leadership to their uniformed groups - to groom as level leaders from sec 1. Other schs just need some sec 1 juniors to enter the sch to serve in level matters, such as emcee or manage order during level assemblies as no level prefects are appointed yet. No commitment to serve in c...

Re: St. Joseph's Institution

Any idea what do the boys do in ADM ? If he is selected to do JAP, can he still do ADM in any semesters? What is the commitment to taking up the JAP? My boy is in Y1 I asked about JAP earlier but think no parent here had experience on JAP. But anyway the commitment was clearly stated in the letter ...

Based on the pattern of hmtl offered (some relation to tscore), there is a good spread across all 11 groups. Maybe IB classes are Gp 2, 5, 6, 11 as observed bigger number of hmtl assigned (so 1 IB class in each fraternity).

wow...drop quite a bit. My elder is in Sec 4 IP and my young one going in Sec 1 next year.
2018's figure was 244 and 253.
Anyway ACSI also fluctuated at 250 and 254 compared to 2018's 249 and 256.

Re: St. Joseph's Institution

Hi DS will be joining SJI next year. Anyone has looked thru the camp packing list? The list mentioned a 1.5l water bottle. What kind of 1.5l water bottle to bring for the camp? Anyone has kids that attended the orientation camp prev? Does the kid need to carry this 1.5l bottle around? If yes, may h...
