Need to have formal contract(written) with home tutor?

I have never enagaged a home tutor through all these years. I always brought my child to enrichment school/language centre for tuition. Now I managed to engage the tutor from the language centre to give tuition at my home privately(save travelling/time). In the past, I just go to more 'reputable' en...

Re: zhiying language school(simei)

Thanks for your response. My boy joined this year P3. Seemed their standard quite high. When I asked him how he felt after their recent 'mock' test, he said their standard seems higher than his school standard I was surprised that they actually test him on certain words which he has yet to learn (un...

Re: Learning Lab vs TAS - which is good?

I enquired about the Holiday programme and found about this 'Love to Write4' which is held in Ang Mo Kio(5/12 to 6/12) or Bukit Timah(7/12 to 8/12). Has anyone signed for this course yet? The course description says about 'teaching children how to inject humor into stories'. I wondered if only this ...

Re: Church holiday camp

Or if the camp is 3 days, 2 nights, can negotiate to let your kid only stay on the 2nd night for a try. Who knows, after the 2 days, he would ask why does he need to go home when everybody is staying back for the night.

As we don't travel very often for holidays overseas(once yearly) nor does he sleep at grandparents' home, I do not know if he can adjust to sleeping outside by himself. Our chuch is organising a children camp during dec holidays a...
