Re: Advice needed: when to tell Fdw I want to end contract H

If your fdw has blackface and shows tantrums, then save yourself the trouble and hassle of telling her before she leaves. Just cancel when she is there. You are not obligated to give her a soft landing. You also do not want blackface^2 and tantrums^2 before she leaves. Safety first.

Re: GP 2018 Paper 1 Questions

Since 2014 Cambridge is specifically looking at scripts that are convincing, have conviction and show confidence. And since 2014, the paper 1 questions have become much broader. While it would be useful to read Media, Environment and S&T, it would be best to prep for GP with a broad application of k...

So interesting. Cant even find their ISBN number in the NLB catalog. Good way to collect essays and print without paying royalty.

GP 2018 Paper 1 Questions

This year's paper takes the shape and form reflected in the SEAB syllabus. Most teachers and tutors are unaware of the changes in 8807/1 since 2014. 1. How far is failure an essential part of success? 2. To what extent is the pursuit of continuous economic growth a desirable goal? 3. In an age of ra...

Re: Useful Tips for JC Students Struggling with GP

Stephen King once said "If you want to write a lot, you must read a lot." This is really fundamental to general paper. Nothing else can help them do well if they don't read, apply what they read, have it assessed and repeat the process.

Re: Anyone from Tampines JC

Teachers are responsible and they value feedback. But school culture is laid back. Dont expect teachers to push you. If you push yourself, the teachers are there to help you. I would send my child to SRJC instead of TPJC. The teachers at SRJC work really hard for the students.

Re: Networking Group - JCs General

Paper 1 is about general awareness of issues that impact us all. Until 2012, it was easy to spot question types. Examiners saw copy-paste essay scripts and hence departed from the 2003 to 2012 question types. As long as a student flips through the newspaper, reads some articles on CNN, BBC, Guardian...
