Anna Ng, don't be too depressed. There is always a way to move forward. How did your dd/ds do for recent exams? Maybe I can recommend some tips for you. Contrary to popular belief, there is not such thing as a stupid student, only students who havent yet learnt how to learn effectively.

If your dd or ds is not in the habit of doing daily revision on his/her own, June Holiday classes can be good to keep the routine going. However, it is very important to make sure that they get enough rest and family time as well.

New babies can be stressful, are you sure you want to move in with MIL too? Maybe you can set up a baby room in MIL place and drop the little one off with her from time to time but still have your own space?

Try a kid's gym. My sister loved those when she was 4/5. Its a good workout and the kids learn valuable social skills too.
