Re: 2019 PSLE Discussions and Strategies (Children born in 2007)

Sharing a letter from a mum to Minister Ong on the PSLE paper this year. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157494188889477&id=535164476 Actually for 2019 Maths, those heavy 4 marks or 5 marks questions towards the end of Paper 2, are more "Maths olympaid" and Heuristics type of question...

Re: 2019 PSLE Discussions and Strategies (Children born in 2007)

My DS is very sad..... he said the math paper is so difficult this year. His class was very upset about this year paper. 2018 was such easier. termjin68, Not much time left, already Friday night 10 pm. 2 more hours, will be midnight and the day is soon over. Sembgal, Sure. If your child needs closure by discussing the answers of a past paper in order to move on then so be it but make sure the child takes it well knowing that he or she has made mistake/s already and will not affect the upcoming papers. I’m saying don’t go bugging a child for his or her a...

We urge you to move on not because we don’t have children taking psle this year or because we are kaypohing and telling experienced parents on what to do but because there is no point in further stressing your kids with a “done...

Re: Nanyang Girls' High School [*IP]

This is a baseless and unintelligent allegation. Speaking about yourself ??? Will this incident affect you, as a parent, to sway against choosing this school? Parents complain or criticize the school now but when the time come, they will still fight toe and nail to get in into NYGH, we cannot undere...

Re: Nanyang Girls' High School [*IP]

During my girl’s days, she was spot checked by her FT for name tag and skirt length. Male teachers usually don’t conduct checks unless the skirt length is unusually short or the name tag is conspicuously absent. However if the bra colors are too conspicuous eg. Pink and can be seen especially under ...

Re: Let's Talk about National Service

I agree The illustrator, who drew above drawing not right. Jaley is already upset enough. One should encourage her to move forward (on) with her life, not to keep reminding her of her sad, painful past where her boyfriend (Aloysius) had died a needless death. Like that, she forever get stuck inside ...
