Re: Which is the most difficult O Level Subject?

Sciences and a/e math results easily show improvements with more practice. Arts subjects on the other hand, are much more difficult to improve. I'd personally go with literature - especially difficult to hone even with good teachers.

Re: Singapore Chinese Girls School (Secondary)

I just wanted to know if SCGS is a good choice for my daughter to go next year. She's from a non-affiliated neighbourhood school and is seen as being reserved and quiet by most people. This is because she has been bullied by a number of girls in her primary school and she has lost many friends. But...

Re: 2015 Uni Open House

Admissions can last up till July, so dont hold your breath. There is an appeal process, it opens around the...

Re: JCs - Parents Networking Group

How important is CCA in JC? I have heard of some students taking 2 CCAs, wouldn't it be too time-consuming? If you are aiming scholarship, US unis, med/law other courses that will assess your portfolio it is impt. For other courses not so much. I took 2 CCAs in JC - one was high commitment (sport) ...

Re: 2014 A Level Results

I like to know - do Ranking Points work in the same way as PSLE T-score? So the higher, the better? Also, it doesn't matter how many As you get just like in PSLE - how many A* ? The ranking points are based on your grades for the subjects, and imo it's the grade for the H2s that really matter the m...

Re: 2014-Uni COP as reference for 2014-A Level to 2015-Uni

It is based on the rank points. Your grades for specific subjects are unimportant except for courses such as law (min B for gp), and for pharmacy (good pass in chem). All courses ONLY care about your total rank points, except for those with interview such as law, medicine, archi, dentistry which wil...
